OVERVIEW
The integration of green practices into an organization’s procurement, facilities management and IT practices does not require radical changes in how it manages its business. Instead, it requires the organization to look for and respond to opportunities to become more efficient and less wasteful, and to make the process of doing so part of the organization’s corporate culture and business processes. It also requires an awareness of the applicable legal and regulatory framework.
This seminar will: (i) describe steps that an organization can take to change its internal processes and procurement practices to reflect a “green” approach; and (ii) show that “going green” is not only socially responsible, but also makes fundamental business sense that will serve the objectives of all stakeholders and in many cases result in dollar savings.
